THIS WEEKEND ONLY: Celebrate The Season With Peanut Butter Apple Hand Pie at Gideon’s Bakehouse
It’s beautiful morning as we plunge headlong into the excitement of Halloween weekend at Disney. We can’t think of a better way to kick things off then with a visit to the slightly macabre Gideon’s Bakehouse!
This is always a huge morning spot for Disney World visitors with guests lining up to score the latest early morning treats!
Gideon’s frequently sells limited edition or weekend exclusive items which once they are gone- they’re gone!
For that reason, it’s not uncommon to see a queue of people waiting to get their hands on some of these exclusive goodies.
Here’s a look at the line from just a bit ago! If it does get too long, Gideon’s does implement a virtual queuing system.
So what’s this weekend’s goodie you ask? Gideon’s took to FB to give us a teaser. Let’s take a look!
I give you the Peanut Butter Apple Hand Pie
This beauty was created in celebration of Halloween!
PB Apple Hand Pies are made up of thinly sliced apples covered in a delectable Peanut Butter Sauce.
This mouth-watering pie filling is then scooped in a flaky fresh-baked pastry.
These hand pies can be enjoyed straight away at room temperature.
Alternatively, you can store them in the fridge and heat them up for the perfect Halloween Weekend treat.
Gideon’s recommends that you reheat them at 350 in your oven or air fryer for a few minutes.
For those popping round to Gideon’s today please note that there is a limit of 2 hand pies per person while supplies last.
Our MickeyBloggers Greg and Elyssa thing that the pie pairs perfectly with Gideon’s famous Peanut Butter Cold Brew.
