Fortune Returned and Glory Given in Ford Credit Card Return
With filming for the fifth installment of the “Indiana Jones” franchise underway, star Harrison Ford went on a search of his own earlier this week. The star lost a credit card while vacationing in Siciliy. Thankfully, Indy again had a touch of luck on his side.
Late last week, a German tourist discovered the card and turned the card over to a local Palermo police station. Officials in the town on Mondello located the actor who was vacationing at a local resort, according to the Associated Press.
Upon returning the card, Harrison Ford even posed for pictures with the police officers in an unexpected surprise.
Filming for the new action-packed film continues this fall throughout Europe after a large delay due to the coronavirus pandemic. Co-stars Antonio Banderas, Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Mads Mikkelsen joined ford in Sicily this month for filming. Previously, the cast and crew shot scenes in England and Scotland as well throughout the summer.

Director James Mangold (“Girl, Interrupted,” “3:10 to Yuma”) helms the new production after Steven Spielberg stepped away from the role. The Academy Award winner, however, stayed on with the franchise as a producer of the new film. Filming is set to wrap late this year with a film release date set for June 2023. Rumors continue to swirl that this will be the last film for Ford’s Indiana Jones, but of course, that too remains a mystery for now.
