Ticket Prices on the Rise Again at Disneyland
The Los Angeles Times is reporting that Disneyland raised their ticket prices by as much as 8% over night for most dates. The price impacts tickets to both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park as well as Park Hopper tickets.
Back in 2016, Disneyland implemented a five-tiered pricing structure that correlated with higher ticket prices for busier days and lower prices for days that were foretasted to have lower crowds. Today’s ticket price increase also added a sixth tier of pricing for the days with the most demand.

Previously, the highest ticket price for a 1-day, 1 Park Tier 5 ticket was $154. The new price for 1-day, 1 Park Tier 5 ticket is now $159. A 1-day, 1 Park ticket for the new Tier 6 is $164.
Today’s ticket price increase is averaging about 3 to 8% for most tiers. The only exception is for days when demand is the lowest for a 1-day, 1 Park ticket. The price for those Disneyland tickets will remain at $104.

1-day, Park Hopper ticket prices are also increasing across the board by as much as 7% in some tiers. A Tier 6 pricing option has also been added. Here is a look at the new vs. old pricing:
Multi-day tickets (both 1 park per day and Park Hoppers are also seeing an increase for this latest ticket price increase. Multi-day tickets do not use the tier system for pricing.
In addition to Disneyland raising the price of tickets, they have also raised the cost to park onsite. Previously, parking was $25 and it is now $30.

It was right before the COVID pandemic started when Disneyland raised their tickets prices in February. At that time, the prices were raised by about 5%. Disneyland then shut down for over one year in March 2020. It re-opened again in April 2021.
At this time, a price increased for Walt Disney World has not been announced but could happen at any time. That’s why it’s always good to lock in your vacation today with just a $200 deposit!
