Disneyland Tram Service Returning in Early 2022
Disneyland guests will be glad to hear this news. The trams are returning to Disneyland Park in early 2022. Guests will once again be able to hitch a ride for the tram service between Mickey and Friends and Pixar Pals parking garages and front gates of the parks.
Guests have voiced their wants for the trams back. “The walk back to parking from Disneyland is brutal,” Joanna Marie wrote on Twitter. “Bring the trams back ASAP.” The trams have been out of commission since March 2020.
Other modes of transportation include the Disneyland Monorail, which reopened in mid-October. And there is also bus service to and from the Toy Story surface parking lot, which reopened in June.
Due to Covid-19, both the Monorail and trams were suspended for health and safety concerns. Not operating these modes of transportation has saved on maintenance and labor expenses, which has been a huge cost-savings for Disneyland.
In the upcoming months, Disneyland will be conducting maintenance on the parking trams and rehiring staff.
