16 Classic Disney Movies will be Represented in the Disney Wish’s 1923 Dining Rooms
As the anticipation builds for the Disney Wish’s inaugural voyage, we are learning even more about the dining options Guests will be treated to as part of Disney Cruise Line’s rotational dining service. And, today, Disney has just shared even more details about the Disney Wish’s 1923 dining room that will be a hit for Disney fans of all ages.
First things first though – the 1923 dining room aboard the Disney Wish will actually be two different dining rooms. One side will pay home to Walt Disney and the other side will feature Roy O. Disney.

Keeping with the 1923 theme – the year the Walt Disney Company was started – 16 of our most beloved, classic Disney movies will be represented with drawings, props, and more! Included in this collection is about 800 pieces of artwork, 50 character maquettes, and 24 multiplane camera cel setups that celebrate all of our favorite animated classics.

In addition to the decor, let’s also talk about the food!
1923’s menu will also pay homage to the Walt Disney Company’s roots with entrees described as “California Cuisines that a rich fusion of Asian, European, and South American flavors.” Menu options include a savory porcini-spiced ahi tuna appetizer and fennel, Bartlett pear, and Tatsoi salad topped with Manchego cheese, walnuts, and a sherry dressing.

When explaining the 1923 dining room, Sachi Handke, Show Coordinator for Walt Disney Imagineering said, “We want you to feel how classy this space is, and we want you to feel classy dining there, like you might turn your head and there is Walt Disney sitting right next to you.”
