Disney Breaks Silence on That ‘Eternals’ Spoiler
With Marvel’s newest film coming to theaters in just a few weeks, an incredible world premiere was hampered by an unfortunate leak in what fans can expect; in the days since the reveal, Disney breaks its silence on that Eternals Spoiler.
The early reactions of the film have been immensely positive, and those in attendance have noted the uniqueness, and incredible visual quality, of the film as factors that make it stand out among its MCU predecessors.
The adventure of these ten super-powered beings is one that spans centuries of existence, and brings to the forefront themes of family, immortality, and what it means to be human.
The abundance of adoration and support that the film was receiving was nearly spoiled (for lack of a better word) by the actions of one Variety writer in attendance; who took it upon himself to share important information regarding the debut of a character in the film.
Many fans were, rightfully, angered by the leaked information, and their frustration is completely understandable; the spoiler was revealed without any warning, and many unintentionally were given details they wanted to be spared from them.
The spoiler was spreading through much of the day yesterday, with Disney finally breaking their silence via Walt Disney Studios’ President of Marketing, Asad Ayaz.
To our colleagues & friends in the press & fan community who will be watching #Eternals in the days ahead, please help preserve the experience of this incredible film. Please do not post spoilers and reveals that so many have worked so hard to protect pic.twitter.com/97elpmQVDY

Ayaz’s plea to fans and the media is an earnest one, and his statement on the preservation of spoilers honoring those who have worked incredibly hard on this project is a very important one.
We know the reality is that some people will seek out the spoiler for their own sake, and we covered the reveal for those few, but we also understand there are many who do not want to be exposed to anything in the film until they see it this November 5th.
Our own post was shrouded with Spoiler Warnings for those who sought out the article and ensured that the content couldn’t be accessed by someone genuinely wanting to avoid the coveted spoiler.
In an age of films so interconnected, but so high stakes, a fight against spoilers has been a constant one for many of these big studios.
As Disney breaks its silence on that Eternals spoiler, we hope many will follow suit; and that this is a fight they will win.
