World of Disney’s Digital Display For Smoother Lines

World of Disney is a World of Merchandise
Guests find a variety of Disney merchandise at World of Disney in Disney Springs. The store is located at the heart of Disney Springs, and it features inspirational Disney touches throughout the store, such as movie posters, art, and animation ink jars.

Merchandise including plushes, iconic Minnie Mouse ears, housewares, and 50th-anniversary keepsakes are found at World of Disney. Therefore, long lines develop here, just as they do at many places around the Walt Disney World Resort.
The New Digital Display
So, World of Disney put the new digital display in place at the store today. Here, you can see the display reads, “Please wait here for the next available register.”
Accordingly, Guests know exactly where to stand as they wait for the next cashier to become unoccupied. The display changes to “Please proceed to Register 8” at the appropriate time; of course, the number changes depending on which cashier is ready for a new customer.
Here is a closer look at the digital display. It is large, bright, and catches Guests’ eyes from several feet away.
The sign continuously changes its wording and updates as the line progresses. Also, the digital display sets right at the registers, so the next Guests know where to go, and when.
