Theme Park Injury Report Released For Q3 2021
Central Florida state reporting of theme park incidents and injuries have been released for the 3rd Quarter of 2021. This covers events occurring July through September at Sea World, Busch Gardens, Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando, and Legoland. The Central Florida theme parks must provide these to the state in order to remain exempt from major inspection.
For the 3rd Quarter of 2021, the 7 incidents and injuries reported occurred at Sea World, Busch Gardens, Walt Disney World, and Universal Orlando. No incidents or injuries were reported at Legoland this quarter.
Theme Park Injury Report For Q3 2021
Walt Disney World
- 7/14/21 – Expedition Everest – Legend of the Forbidden Mountain, 72 year old male, guest felt nauseous after experiencing the attraction
- 9/16/21- Avatar Flight of Passage, 68 year old female, guest with pre-existing condition felt lightheadedafter experiencing the attraction
- 9/22/21- Journey info Imagination with Figment, 70 year old female, guest fell exiting the attraction striking her nose
Universal Orlando
- 7/7/21 – Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure, 7year old female, back pain
- 7/8/21 – If I ran the Zoo, 47 year old female, ankle deformity
Sea World
- 9/28/21 – Roa’s Rapids, 69 year old male, unresponsive
Busch Gardens
- 9/6/21 – Rambling Bayou, 36 year old male, leg numbness
Please note only illnesses or incidents resulting in a hospital stay of 24-hours or more including deaths are displayed on the Theme Park Injury Report
