How Disney Parks Around the World Are Celebrating 95 Years of Winnie the Pooh!
If you’ve been following along with MickeyBlog you’ll know that we are celebrating 95 fabulous years of Winnie the Pooh! And on this anniversary we thought we’d take some time to share with you ways that you can get in on the fun with your friends at Hundred Acre Wood!
And trust me when I say that this celebration is a global event with Disney parks around the world celebrating the long-lasting appeal of Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore, Tigger and friends!
Tokyo Disney Resort
Our global celebration of all things Pooh and friends starts at Tokyo Disney Resort. Here you’ll find the beloved Pooh’s Hunny Hunt. Guests jump into a whimsical “hunny” pot that hasa mind of its own. Before you know it, you’re following Winnie the Pooh on his adventure to find honey- of course!
Disneyland Resort
Head on over to Critter Corner at Disneyland theme park for the beloved songs and scenes from your favorite Winnie the Pooh stories! Forget the honey pots, you climb aboard a oversized beehive for your fun-filled adventure!
Walt Disney World
Guests to Walt Disney World Resort can enjoy a similar experience at The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. Located in Magic Kingdom, this ride is a visual extravaganza which includes classic tunes for Pooh fans both big and small!
Oh! While you’re at the Magic Kingdom be sure to check out the Winnie the Pooh and Piglet Fab 50 statue currently on display in celebration of Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Celebration. It makes for the perfect photo op!
Hong Kong Disneyland
Hong Kong Disney-goers can also experience The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. The ride vehicle of choice here is an oversized honey pot as you magically make your way through a colorful , song-filled, storybook adventure!
While at Hong Kong Disneyland you’ll also want to be on the lookout for some Pooh-inspired treats!
Highlights include the Winnie the Pooh and Tigger Lollipop Donut along with the Winnie the Pooh Mango Jam & Piglet Raspberry Jam Lollipop Cookies. We think Pooh would approve of these delicious ways to celebrate his 95th birthday!
Disneyland Resort – California
We couldn’t mention Pooh-inspired treats without paying homage to the delicious Tigger Marshmallow Tails that you’ll find at Disneyland theme park. They are definitely as good as they look!
Winnie the Pooh Merchandise
Now, let’s talk merch! We head back over to Tokyo Disneyland to show off some of their Hundred Acre Woods-inspired items.
This includes everything from satin jackets and button down shirts to chopsticks!
You’ll also find adorable Winnie the Pooh facemasks like the one below.
You can even cosplay (or just keep your head warm) with this fantastic Winnie the Pooh hat!
Also, let’s not forget that it’s cold season. What better way to combat those sniffles than with this soft and adorable tissue holder!
Some of Disney’s favorite brands are also getting in on the fun.
Below is the stunning new Danielle Nicole Mini Backpack. It is absolutely brimming with beautiful details that immerse you in the stories of Pooh and Friends
We’re also huge fans of the new Petunia Pickle Bottom Meta backpack. It’s perfect for moms and dads with tiny-tots that need a changing table and other baby essentials on the go.
During your Disney visit, you’ll also want to be on the lookout for a new Pooh Bear ball cap featuring a loveable embroidered image of Pooh with his name in lettering at the bottom.
Celebrate with some shiny jewelry like this “HapBee Birthday” Pooh Birthday Dangle Charm which is perfect for all you Disney fashionistas!
EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival
If you’re heading to Disney World’s fabulous horticultural event next Spring, be on the lookout for this Winnie the Pooh red balloon topiary.
We couldn’t possibly forget the shop Pooh Corner at Disneyland theme park where you’ll find candy, confections and souvenirs all in a Winnie the Pooh and friends theme!
There’s also Hundred Acre Goods at Magic Kingdom which is a treasure trove of Pooh goodies!
We hope you enjoyed this look at all of the Pooh magic at Disney parks around the globe.
