Monorail Hop
The Walt Disney World Resort boasts so many unique and themed resorts – hop on the monorail to experience a few of them! The monorail connects Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, and Disney’s Contemporary Resort.
This is a great way to check out the different hotels, visit the gift shops, or even partake in a bar crawl and check out all of the lounges.
Soak up the Sun!
Your resort pool is an excellent non-park getaway. And every vacation needs a day just relaxing by the water and enjoying the Central Florida sun. Zip down waterslides, splash in the water, relax with a drink in hand, and enjoy the fun of at a Disney pool.

Head to Disney Springs for an afternoon of shopping or an evening of fun and entertainment. Over 100 locations provide an assortment of fun merchandise. Everything from Disney exclusives to popular apparel and to home goods and more. Disney Springs offers a little bit of everything.
And that is just the shopping! Make a day of it and afterwords grab a drink, a creamy ice cream, or a dinner under the stars. There is bowling, an AMC Theater, and plenty of ways to have a great time while shopping!
Disney’s Boardwalk
Experience old fashion charm and sweet nostalgia at Disney’s Boardwalk. Featuring an excellent assortment of dining options, entertainment, and shopping – this is a great place to people watch, eat outside, or simply stroll the boardwalk.
Old- time music plays in the background and food kiosks and carnival games abound. It’s such a simple and nostalgic experience. I love being at Disney and experiencing a slower pace. Grab a sweet treat from the Boardwalk Bakery or enjoy a drink at AbracadaBar. So many wonderful options to choose from!
