“Home Sweet Home Alone” Reboot Trailer Out Ahead of Disney+ Release
KEVIIIIIN! A brand-new trailer Home Sweet Home Alone has just been released!
The upcoming reboot of the absolute classic franchise Home Alone was announced earlier this year, and fans can’t wait to get a fresh spin on the beloved tale.
In this version, it’s Max who is left home alone, whilst his family travels to Japan. From the trailer, Max (played by Archie Yates) looks to be every bit as lovable and mischievous as Macauley Culkin’s Kevin from the 1990 classic.
The trailer is packed with laugh-out-loud moments, particularly from Max and the ‘baddies’ of the movie, played by Ellie Kemper and Rob Delaney.
We are glad to see that the new movie really seems to have been made as a nod to the original franchise, rather than produced as a modern replacement.
But, fans of the original are in for a treat, as Macauley Culkin himself is set to make a cameo in the new movie! Details on his character are yet to be revealed – but we sure are hoping to see Kevin again!
Home Alone is highly regarded by many as the must-watch family movie at Christmastime, and we hope this new take does it justice!
The movie is set to be released exclusively onto Disney+ on November 12th, so in plenty of time for the holiday season.
Can’t wait that long? Watch the chaos-filled trailer below!
Another hit festive Disney+ original is Noelle, which hit the platform in 2019. It’d be lovely to see lots of new holiday movies released by Disney+, and we can’t wait to hear what they have in store for us next year!
