There’s Extra Magic in Store for Teens and Tweens on the Disney Wish
Yesterday,. we profiled the all-new areas coming aboard the Disney Wish for the youngest Guests onboard. Today, I am excited to share about the dedicated spaces on the Disney Wish that were designed for the coolest kids at sea – those tweens and teens!

While there are several spaces for the entire family to enjoy on the Disney Wish, there are also areas designed especially for the 11 to 17 year old crowd just to chill and vibe. And, since it’s a Disney Cruise ship, all of these areas have some magical design touches and the latest in technology.
Let’s take a closer look!

Edge
Inspired by a New York City loft, Edge offers Tweens (ages 11 to 14) aboard the Disney Wish a space all of their own featuring bright colors, an indoor aolarium with a sunny overhead skylight effect, adorable carpet that looks like fresh grass and daisies, and a beautiful mural of a bright blue sky.
Other than a place to hang out with their newest friends, Edge also offers places for solo gaming, movies, a soda bar, and games inspired by a colorful outdoor city park.
Edge also boasts state-of-the-art photo walls! All Tweens on board will be racing about these special walls that allow them to take some cool, shareable photos of their magical vacation making them the envy of everyone back home!

Vibe
For the Teens (ages 14 to 17), Vibe will be the place to be on the Disney Wish! This area will offer teenagers their own area to play some games and participate in activities that were designed just for them.
The design elements of Vibe are inspired by a Parisian artists’ loft with classical architectural elements including regal French columns and paneled walls adorned with whimsical pop art murals, bold graffiti, and a traditional French Morris column covered with Disney-inspired travel posters.

The vibe of Vibe also includes retro decor with vibrant neon signs and funky pop art. But, there’s more! There’s a bold, larger-than-life Mickey Mouse statue and floor-to-ceiling windows that overlooks the ocean outside.

The Hideaway
While the Vibe and Edge are on other Disney Cruise Ships, there is an all-new area for Tweens and Teens coming to the Disney Wish: The Hideaway! This chill retreat will allow Tweens and Teens to enjoy a smoothie, jam out to music, or just relax in an area just for that also offers a dance floor and a DJ booth – perfect for belting out your favorite tunes during karaoke or even a pop-up dance contest!
The Hideaway will also be used as a flexible space on the Disney Wish. It will be located right next to Vibe and can be opened at any time to make a larger Teen Club. It can also be closed off just for activities for Tweens and even reserved for Disney Wish Guests who are between the ages of 18 and 20.

All Tweens and Teen on the Disney Wish will also have access to counselor-led experiences that have been desigend just with their interests in mind. One new experience that Tweens and Teens are going to love is the hilarious new competition-style game themed to the hit Disney movie, “The Emperor’s New Groove!” Special events just for those Guests ages 11 to 17 will also be found across the ship and in the Hero Zone, Luna, and more!
