Marvel Studios Confirm Over 30 Projects in Development
The Marvel Cinematic Universe has become one of the great triumphs of cinema history; with no signs of slowing down, it appears that the Disney-led film universe will only continue to grow as a recent interview has seen an Executive at Marvel Studios confirm over 30 projects in development.
In a year following the release of a vast amount of pandemic-delayed projects, many fans would be quick to assume that Marvel is approaching a lull in projects; this, however, appears to not be the case, with the backlog of developing films and series continuing to fill up.
The presence of Disney+ will no doubt enhance the level of focus nad commitment that Marvel will allocate to their different ideas; with the various Disney+ series of the past year being incredibly well received by fans and critics alike.
The increase in production seems like a natural response to the year the studio has had; with Black Widow and Shang-Chi headlining a four film slate through 2022, and both receiving incredibly positive ciritcall and box office reception, there are no signs of fan interest waning.
In a tweet from 221 radio, Marvel executive Victoria Alonso confirmed the number of projects in development at Marvel to stand at 31; an astounding number considering what we have already been treated to so far this year.

Screen Rant dissected how many of these projects may have already been made aware to fans, and arrived at the following;
Counting the nine remaining of Phase 4 (ending in Fantastic Four), the tw Phase 5 films (Captain Ameria 4 and Blade). and the nine TV series that have yet to debut, Puts the number around 20. That means there are at least 11 more projects that Marvel has kept tightly under wraps.
As Marvel Studios confirm over 30 projects in development, the incredible uptick in production comes with its fair share of concerns; with the incredible fan demand, it is valid for many to worry that waning interest from an overstaurated universe and an uninterested fanbase could be an understanding fallout.
One can only hope that Marvels continued commitment to excellence under the guide of Kevin Feige, and the continued high standard of the directors and talent the studio collaborates with, their success should continue wel into the foreseeable future.
