Disney’s ‘Tower Of Terror’ Film Moving Forward With Scarlett Johansson After Settlement
Despite the very public and very contentious Black Widow lawsuit between the film’s star and studio, it appears as though Disney’s Tower of Terror Film is moving forward with Scarlett Johansson set to star, following the news of a settlement.
Although the well-documented displeasure between both sides has been a constant story over much of the summer season, the settlement will reportedly not impact the future creative endeavors of the two parties, as the resolved issue is reportedly in the rearview mirror.
The biggest project known to the public was the Johansson helmed Tower of Terror film; based on the famed Walt Disney World attraction, the veteran actress was set to star and produce the film for Walt Disney Studios.
With the well noted financial and critical success of Disneys recently released Jungle Cruise, starring stars Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt, Disney seeking to replicate this success with similar attraction based films seems like the right play for the studio.

Johnsson provides experience in the production chair- as her work producing Black Widow cannot be understated- while also providing the film with a well known, and proven name, for which the marketing can hang its hat.
The news of Johansson and Walt Disney Studios continued collaboration despite the entire lawsuit comes as a shock to many, with whatever agreement reached being enough to allow both parties to feel secure in returning again to their partnership.

one thing is certain, Johansson and Disney have had an incredibly fruitful collaborative relationship; with Johansson’s run as the MCU’s Black Widow being involved in some of the studios most successful and well known films.
With Disney’s Tower of Terror film moving forward with Scarlett Johansson, fans should be increibile excited for whats instore, with the film being the studios second attempt after their 1997, Steven Guttenberg, starring Tower of Terror; fans should be in for a rejuvenated and lasting take on the story.
