There’s a Harmonious Dessert Party and MickeyBlog Is There
If you’ve been following along with our LIVE videos this evening you’ll know that our excitement for all things Harmonious is reaching fever pitch.
Our MickeyBloggers had a unique opportunity to be guests at an EPCOT new Harmonious Dessert Party!
For guests that have done the Happily Ever After or EPCOT Forever soirees, this dessert party was largely the same. Guests arrive about an hour or so in advance of showtime and are treated to a wide array of eats, treats, cocktails and more.
In addition, you are given a stunning viewing spot from which to take in Disney’s incredible nighttime spectaculars.
Dessert parties at Disney World are such a treat and for those on the fence about booking one, go for it! You won’t be disappointed!
Tables were set up throughout the viewing area with votives adding a nice nighttime touch!
But let’s hop in to one of the most important aspects about EPCOT’s Harmonious Dessert Party…the FOOD! There were individual stations where guests could help themselves. Above is the signage for a decadent array of nuts, dried fruits and some fresh fruit options.
There were a whole host of delightful treats from dried apricots to fresh fruit salad!
Those in the mood for some delightful desserts were not disappointed.
One offer this evening were a nice variety of pastries representing the countries that make up the World Showcase. This included:
- Moroccan Baklava
- Norway’s famous School Bread
- Canadian Maple Leaf Cheese Cake
- Germany Salted Caramel
- Chocolate Cupcake.
Will you look at that spread!?
Moving on…I have one word for you FLAMBEE!
That’s right. There was a fire and ice “Action Station” where we had a chance to try out the Lemoncello Flambeed Funnel Cake, Blueberry Bread pudding and Hand-dipped Vanilla Ice Cream.
The smells coming from the flambee station were nothing short of delightful!
A huge shout out to the cast members working the event for giving us their own “light show!”
We can’t wait to try our toasty treat!
Alcoholic and Non-Alcoholic Beverages were available during our soiree.
We had a chance to try out the Bourbon Lemonade. It was refreshing and not too strong.
As you can see, wine and beer were also available!
However, we kept coming back for that delightful Bourbon Lemonade!
Those aren’t all for Greg…don’t worry!
We had cookie tins that could be used to fill up with an eclectic array of cookies and biscuits!
As you can see there was also fudge…YUM!
The cookie station included the following:
- Middle Eastern Semolina
- English Tea Biscuits
- Turkish Delights
- French Madeline’s
- Greek Butter
- Scottish Shortbread
- Austrian Almond Crescents
- German Pfeffernusse
- Warm American Toll House Cookies
There was also a hot beverage station with coffees and teas.
Here are this evenings chef’s giving us a big thumbs up!
We had a bustling crowd for this evening.
It was exciting to share this event with so many eager Disney fans!
Now all we have to do is wait for the show to begin!
But maybe just a little more baklava.
At the moment, EPCOT has announced a specific dessert party even to accompany Harmonious. However, both Rose and Crown in the UK Pavilion and Spice Road Table will be offering fireworks dining packages. To experience the magic of a Disney Dessert Party you can also book one of the Enchantment options at the Magic Kingdom.
We’ll let you know if other tasty offerings are coming your way. Keep following along with us!
