Take a First Look at the Fab 50 Statues at Hollywood Studios
Our MickeyBloggers is park hopping to provide you with a first look at the Fab 50 statues at Hollywood Studios!
First up is Bo Peep and Woody being a delightful duo.
You can find them in the gardens in front of the Chinese Theater.
As you can see the statue sits on an Earidescent base with the 50th Anniversary emblem on it.
The detailing on all of these statues is so well done, right down to the sheriff’s badge on Woody’s shirt!
You can see the stitching on Woody’s trousers and even the cactus outline on his boots!
Bo and Woody’s location makes for the perfect photo op so be sure to seek them out during your next Hollywood Studios visit!
This next statue is simply marvelous!
It’s fashion designer extraordinaire Edna Mode.
You’ll know Edna from The Incredibles films where is is expert at dressing up our favorite super heroes!
Edna is pictured wearing the latest design (in all black I’m sure) with her signature thick, round-rimmed glasses.
You can see echo lake behind her and Hollywood Boulevard to her left, giving you a pretty good indication of where to look!
We love that puckered look she’s giving.
And we are pleased to say that Edna isn’t the only Incredibles character to be honored with a statue!
Above you can see Frozone working up his icy magic!
This character is so lifelike that I can almost hear the voice of Samuel L. Jackson!
We love that rather than the standard pedestal we get an action shot of Frozone on a chunk of ice.
Look closely and you can even see the icicles at the bottom!
Just over his left shoulder you can see the signage for the Indian Jones Stunt Show which gives you an indication of where you can find Mr. Incredible’s best buddy!
Next up, it’s time to feel the Force with two of our favorite droids!
First up is BB-8. He looks so adorable with the gold coloring of the statue!
And standing just next to him is one of the most important characters in the Star Wars franchise – R2-D2.
We think it’s only fitting that these two should be spending some quality time together.
There close proximity also means that you can get both of these cuties in one camera shot!
We think it would make for the ultimate selfie!
Don’t go looking for these droid in Galaxy’s Edge, like the others, you’ll find them in the main square near Chinese Theater.
Right in front of the Hollywood Studios sign taking guests into Toy Story Land is Joe Gardner.
Joe is one of the newest characters to get a Fab 50 statue. He’s from the beloved Pixar film Soul.
Voiced by Jamie Foxx, Joe is a high school band teacher that finds himself accidentally in the afterlife. With a bit of a help from another lost soul (voiced by Tina Fey) Joe must find his way back!
It seems only fitting the Joe, should be pictured in front of his very own keyboard.
We can almost hear his smooth stylings!
We also love the waviness of the keyboard which brings a unique dimension to this statue.
Again, you can see the Chinese Theater just behind Joe.
I am flipping my fins over this next Fab 50 statue.
Another duo, it is none other than Flounder and Sebastian from The Little Mermaid.
These two are definitely giving us some “Under the Sea” vibes!
Sebastian strikes an adorable pose.
While Flounder looks on excitedly.
The texture at the top of the pedestal gives this scene a watery feel!
We hope you enjoyed these statues as much as we do! Readers are encouraged to keep following along with us here at MickeyBlog for further Walt Disney World news and updates!
