The EPCOT Candlelight Processional Will Return This Holiday Season
I am thrilled to announce that the always magical Candlelight Processional will be returning this year to the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays!
The first Candlelight Processional will be held on November 26 and nightly throughout December 30, 2021 as part of the Holiday Festival at EPCOT.

The Candlelight Processional at EPCOT will be back this holiday season in all it’s glory with one minor difference: Outside choirs from around the country will not be performing. Due to current vaccination requirements for all performers including the hosts, Cast Members, musicians, and singers, Disney will instead be expanding its Cast Member choir to fill the stage with extra voices.
Disney has stated that they plan on having choirs from different schools and churches from around the country return next year’s festivities.
The Candlelight Processional has been a highlight of the holiday season at Walt Disney World since 1971. It actually started in Disneyland back in 1958. It then was offered when the Magic Kingdom opened in 1971 but moved over to EPCOT in 1994. It took a brief hiatus last year due to the pandemic but it will be back this year with its live orchestra, expanded cast choir, and celebrity narrator for the 2021 holiday season!
