A Cute, Live-Action Disney Princess Crossover Took Place at the Met Gala Last Night!
Anyone who has been on the internet at all today will probably already know that the annual Met Gala took place last night in New York.
With extravagant fashion, a patriotic theme and countless celebrities, it’s hard not to spend the whole day poring over the photos.
However, it was one very special moment which is standing out to us here at MickeyBlog!
A cut crossover between two up-and-coming Disney stars has had people talking – read on to see what happened…
Present at the gala last night were Halle Bailey and Rachel Zegler. Both Disney Princesses in-the-making, Bailey and Zegler met for a sweet photo opportunity, shared by Zegler over on her Twitter account.

Both Bailey and Zegler have been announced as the newest Disney Princesses to join the live-action line-up, set to portray Ariel and Snow White, respectively, in the upcoming adaptations.
Rachel Zegler (pictured right in the image), was announced to have been cast as Snow White in June.
Shortly after getting this iconic role, Zegler proved she was ready for the responsibility and traveled to Walt Disney World to ‘conduct research‘ into the magic of her role.
At just 20 years old, Zegler shot to fame after she was announced to have been cast as Maria in Steven Spielberg’s upcoming remake of West Side Story, which will hit theaters this winter.
With a princess-perfect voice, we can’t wait to see her as Snow White!
Halle Bailey (on the left of the photo) is also no stranger to success.
Half of the unstoppable R&B sister-duo Chloe x Halle, 21 year-old Bailey was announced to have been cast as Ariel in the upcoming live-action remake of The Little Mermaid back in July of 2019.
Filming has officially wrapped for The Little Mermaid, which confirmed its set release date of 2022 just this week.
Bailey retweeted Zegler’s photo of the stunning pair, saying she was “so happy to have met [Zegler]”. We love a Disney Princess crossover!
As always, make sure you stay tuned to MickeyBlog for all the latest updates on the upcoming productions of Snow White and The Little Mermaid. We can’t decide which princess we’re most excited for!
