Check Out This Amazing ‘Winnie the Pooh’-Themed Airbnb Rental
Deep in the Hundred Acre Wood, you’ll find the most adorable overnight rental.
As part of the 95th anniversary celebrations for the beloved ol’ bear, Airbnb have partnered with Disney to create something truly special for fans.
Situated in A.A. Milne’s real-life inspiration, England’s Ashdown Forest, this charming rental is the perfect getaway for Winnie the Pooh fans.
Explore the woods which gave inspiration to Christopher Robin’s playground, play Poohsticks on the iconic bridge, and enjoy a quiet moment of ‘thoughtfulness’.
The fully-immersive home has been especially designed and curated by those who know and love Pooh the best, with impressive detail.
The host is Kim Raymond, who was appointed by Disney to illustrate Winnie the Pooh and has been drawing him for over 30 years.
Doesn’t this look like the perfect place for a small smackerel?
The ‘Bearbnb’, built to appear as though it is in a tree, is full of all the details we know and love from the classic tales.
The home comes fully-equipped with everything a Pooh would need. It’s under the name of ‘Mr Sanderz’, the shelves are stocked with hunny pots, and there’s a strict ‘No heffalumps allowed’ policy!
Catherine Powell, the Global Head of Hosting at Airbnb said about the stays:
“Winnie the Pooh is a childhood jewel beloved by families the world over. This year, the original books celebrate their 95th anniversary. What better way to commemorate A.A. Milne’s classic work than with these two once-in-a-lifetime stays in the original Hundred Acre Wood. A perfect place to do nothing. As Pooh said, “doing ‘Nothing’ often leads to the very best Something””.
Just two one-night stays will be hosted, on September 24th and 25th.
It is just £95 per night to book over on Airbnb. Pooh’s home can house a maximum of four guests, with up to three children. No pets are allowed – apart from Tiggers!
We can expect a high level of interest for this unique opportunity, so make sure you’re ready when booking goes live at 2pm BST on Monday 20th September.
Unfortunately for international fans, booking is open to current UK residents only, in line with the local guidelines surrounding COVID-19.If you’re not in the UK, don’t worry! There are plenty more Winnie the Pooh adventures to be had elsewhere. For instance, have you seen the adorable new puppets which have been revealed for the upcoming musical stage adaptation in New York?
