BREAKING NEWS: Marvel Reveals First Trailer for ‘Hawkeye’!
The wait is over with the anticipated first look at the newest MCU, Disney+ exclusive series has finally arrived; as Marvel reveals the first trailer for Hawkeye!
Long in production, the series is the first solo effort for one of Marvel’s original six Avengers, Clint Barton’s Hawkeye, in an adventure that will show the famed archer away from his super-powered co-workers.

The trailer showed off what fans can expect from this action-packed adventure that will see Clint desperately trying to make it home for Christmas; making good on a promise to his family.
The festive new series is not only Marvel’s first foray into a Christmas theme, but it is also set to introduce one of Marvel characters most interesting and beloved characters in the form of Kate Bishop.

The trailer shows the purple-clad archer attempting to help Bishop fend off threats she inadvertently invited by carrying the long disregarded mantle of Ronin; Hawkeye’s previous identity witnessed in Avengers: Endgame.
A persona that masked the quest for revenge that Barton took after losing his family to the Thanos snap, Ronin was a lethal entity that had stirred up the ire of many villains throughout the MCU; villains that Barton and Bishop must now defeat in this new series.

The aesthetic and narrative are very reminiscent of writer Matt Fractions Marvel comics run on the character; a Hawkeye solo series that focused intensely on the human side of Barton, and the repercussions of a human in the superhero business.
Fraction introduced Bishop to the world during that same run, while also creating the Tracksuit Mafia and the beloved Lucky the dog; both of which appear at various points in the trailer.

If a Fraction-inspired series can promise fans anything, it’s a very down-to-earth story that works in real-world stake.
Wrought with its fair share of violence and laughs, Fractions Hawkeye is sarcastic, malleable, and incomparably human; which should work to bring a new perspective to this next chapter of Marvel MCU.
Fans were also given a first look at the series official poster, which displays the two main characters, accompanied by the fantastic Lucky the dog!

With the Christmas aesthetic of the series front and center, Marvel’s newest addition to the MCU canon promises to be fun, exciting, and filled with their signature emotional center; this is not one you guys want to miss!
