Relaxing Afternoon Lunch at the Boathouse
A beautiful sunny day – a breezy afternoon on the water– and a perfect coastal ambience make afternoon lunch at the Boathouse perfect!
As a local, I frequently find myself on Disney World property as it is a great way to enjoy world-class dining options and excellent service. And today, I found myself wandering around Disney Springs and headed to one of my favorite Disney hotspots, The Boathouse Orlando.

The Boathouse
Located in the Landing at Disney Springs, this upscale waterfront dining restaurant features a nautical theme and mouthwatering eats.
There are options to enjoy indoor dining, relax at the indoor oyster bar, or my personal favorite- head outside for amazing views at the dock side bar. A wooden dock connects the entire area and is a great place to stroll around after your meal.
The Menu
The Boathouse boasts an excellent menu featuring fresh fish and an awesome oyster bar. Everything from sandwiches, burgers, lobster rolls, pasta, steak and more is available.
I arrived exactly at 11 AM to avoid the crowds and get a great spot outside at the bar!
The Salmon Garden Salad was the perfect light bite for a hot afternoon and the “Yacht Club” club was excellent!
Drinks
The Boathouse features an excellent drink menu with House specialties, delicious cocktails, and an extensive wine list.
Enjoy your glass of wine or specialty cocktail with delightful music playing in the background and a breeze on the water- it is the perfect place to relax.
The Vibe
I find the afternoon vibe is relaxing and chill as guests enjoy their drinks and relish in the Florida sun. The evening tends to be more bustling with busier crowds and live entertainment.
Wave at the riders in the colorful amphicars, stroll the wooden dock and view fully restored Dream Boats from the 30’s, 40’s, and 50’s, and browse through the shop on your way out.
The Boathouse is not just dining- it is truly an experience!

The Boathouse is open daily: Monday-Friday 11am-11:30pm/Saturday-Sunday 10am-11pm
Reservations are highly recommended (or come early) as this popular location gets busy quickly.
