Orlando Officials Report Busiest Labor Day in Years!
The world may still be battling a pandemic and the Delta variant, but Americans are looking to travel. In recent months, Orlando travel has steadily been in increasing and just this morning Orlando Officials Report Busiest Labor Day in Years!
FOX 35 Orlando shared a Travel Alert tweet early this morning!
It states “Officials said it could be the busiest Labor Day holiday weekend in years – even more than the Labor Day weekend of 2019, before the COVID-19 pandemic.”
Orlando International Airport also anticipated record-breaking travel and shared updates via their official FaceBook page!
MCO shared that they anticipated “more than 300k departing travelers, from September 2 through September 7.”
They recommended the following to ensure smooth and safe travel:
- Arrive at least 2 hours prior to your flight.
- Wear a face mask.
- Follow/TSA checkpoint rules.
- Download the MCO app.

Historically, Labor Day weekend has always been a busy time period as vacationers soak in the last few days of summer.
