Imagineer Shares First Look at Mural Inside EPCOT’s New Creations Shop

Throughout EPCOT you’ll find a wealth of original art and artifacts that can be found throughout the park. You’ve likely taken notice of some of these murals like the ones at Spaceship Earth, Living with the Land as well as throughout the World Showcase.
This legacy is being continued with the new retails outlets and attractions coming to the parks.
A fantastic example of this can be found in the Creations Shop which Riddley calls, “a place dedicated to creative inspiration and commemoration that comes from the wonderful world of souvenirs.”
Inside the Creations Shop you’ll find original art pieces featuring Disney’s own muse of creativity – Mickey!
Riddley told us that the mural has been meticulously hand-painted. If you look closely at it in the image below you can see brushstrokes and movement directly from the hands of the artists. Its hard to get a sense of the size and scale but this mural spans over 35 feet.
Once the Creations Shop opens, you’ll find the mural on the south end of store.
This bold statement inspires us, now and into the future. It’s present tense. Like Mickey, we keep moving optimistically towards a future of our making.
