With the “World’s Most Magical Celebration” quickly approaching, a plethora of new collectibles and books continue to be released, celebrating the occasion. Publishing powerhouse Penguin Random House found a way to mark the Walt Disney World Resort’s 50th anniversary with an updated version of its Little Golden Book title, “Mickey’s Walt Disney World Adventure.”
Leading the beat of the Main Street Philharmonic, the cover of the classic text lets readers know right away that this updated release marks this year’s incredible festivities.
The story original released in 1997 in honor of the resort’s 25th annivesrary. In the original text, Mickey and his pals spend their day enjoying all that the Magic Kingom has to offer. They take a ride down Main Street U.S.A., whiz through classic attractions in Tomorrowland, and even travel to see the Eighth Wonder of the World on the Jungle Cruise.
Based on the cover, it appears that the crew may also pick up a delightful Mickey balloon during their day. What trip to the Magic Kingdom is complete without one of those?!

The darling collectible is available now for pre-order on major book retailers. Currently, the price is $5.99 with a ship date of Jan. 4, 2022.
The “World’s Most Magical” Anniversary
On October 1st, the Walt DIsney World Resort kicks off its 50th anniversary extravaganza, which has been dubbed “The World’s Most Magical Celebration.”

The “EARidescent” shades of blues and purples which first debuted on the updated ensembles for classic Disney characters like Mickey and Minnie Mouse now spread throughout Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom. Touches of gold accentuate not only Cinderella Castle but also the outfits fit for such an important occasion.
The 50th annivesrary celebration also brings not one but two new fireworks shows to the Walt Disney World Resort with “Disney Enchantment” replacing “Happily Ever After” at the Magic Kingdom and “HarmoniUS” finding a permanent home at EPCOT.

Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, a new family attraction at the France Pavillion in EPCOT opens in celebration of the big day as well, and the parks will also debut the Fab 50 Character Collection, a gold-filled statue installation that spans all four theme parks with 50 iconic characters suprising guests. Characters include park favorites like Figment, classics like Flounder and Sebastian, and new characters, including Pixar’s Joe Gardner.
