No More Face Masks in Disney World Attraction Queues
If you’ve been following along with MickeyBlog you’ll know that Disney World recently relaxed their face mask policies and guests are no longer required to wear masks when queuing outdoors for rides and attractions.
We saw this in action a few times throughout the weekend and wanted to pass some photos we took on to you.
Above you can see us in line for Frozen Ever After at EPCOT.
The queue extended past Akershus Royal Banquet Hall. At this time when visiting the theme parks there is no social distancing in place and facemasks are not required unless you are indoors!
If you’ve been following along with us you’ll know that Disney’s facemask policy is constantly evolving.
Initially, when the theme parks reopened last year masks were required indoors and outdoors except when eating.
Then Disney World changed the policy to only indoor attractions, restaurants, shops and queuing indoors and outdoors.
This has recently been changed to with masks NOW only required indoors and no longer in queues.
Despite the uptick in COVID-19 cases in Florida, we suspect these new policies are here to stay- at least for a while.
However, this is a story that we here at MickeyBlog will continue to follow each and ever week.
We promise to let you know should the policy change further.
