With Shang-Chi just over a week away, MArvel is posing audiences for the next adventure coming to the MCU with news that the Eternals are featured on Entertainment Weekly Exclusive covers!
The MCU is bouncing back from perhaps the most difficult year to navigate in movie history; as 2020 had halted productions, and forced film studios to reimagine how they approach distribution models for their films.
Over a year remove from those nationwide lockdowns, and Marvel has made an incredible return to from that is unriavaled by perhaps any studio on the planet.
Following the incredible Disney+ series that Marvel has developed, to the prequel Black Widow film, to the incoming Shang-Chi, and eventually, to the debut of what is perhaps the MCU’s oldest, yet unknown, teams; The Eternals.
The group of enigmatic ancient beings are all but unknown to most Marvel fans and are lesser-known comic heroes to even the biggest of fans.
The Eternals essentially function as a collection of being who exist untouched by time; experiencing the beauty and horror of humanity without making their cosmic power known to the rest of humanity.
The team blends into society, and exists among them; that is, until a great threat forces the family to forsake their hiding in a place of action, as their powers are needed to help protect the world they have come to care about so much.
It was recently announced that this future force in the MCU will be featured prominently on the road to their debut; as the Eternals are featured on Entertainment Weekly exclusive covers.

All ten members of the Eternals will be featured on the covers, with an emphasis being on the displaying of the incredibly beautiful costumes these characters will don in the film; overlayed with a fantastic black and gold aesthetic that expresses the regal nature of the upcoming film.
The first character displayed is Mikkari, who is portrayed by actress Lauren Ridloff in the film.
Ridloff is known for her incredible work on the widely beloved series The Walking Dead, and on the broadway stage; she is a deaf actress, and will be playing the first deaf character in Marvels pantheon.

It wouldn’t be the Eternals without Sersi, played by Gemma Chan; as one of the few actresses to appear in the MCU as two different characters, Chan is one of the two love interests who represent the heart of the film.
