Splash Mountain Reopens After Being Closed AGAIN This Morning
Could we be seeing an end to the Splash Mountain saga?
MickeyBlog was back at the Magic Kingdom this morning where Splash Mountain was once again closed to the public.
This has been an all too common sight over the last few days with guests stationed at the walkway to turn guests away.
The ride has been experiencing lots of technical difficulties as of late.
The last time we shared pictures with you of Splash Mountain all of the water was actually drained from the attraction.
Today, things were looking slightly more promising.
Though the area was quiet, Splash Mountain entrance signs were out which made of feel optimistic.
As of 2pm, we can report that the ride does look like it has reopened.
The ride is currently showing a stand-by time of 60 minutes.
If you’ve been following along with us, you’ll know that this ride will eventually be closing for refurbishment.
It will be transformed into a Princess and the Frog theme.
Disney has not said yet when they expect the project to start but Imagineers have previously said the process will be a lengthy one
This is a story that we will continue to follow closely. Readers are encouraged to keep checking in with us for further news and updates.
