New Concrete Flooring Being Placed at Pecos Bill Entrance
If you’ve been walking by Pecos Bill’s in Frontierland at the Magic Kingdom, you may have noticed that construction walls have gone up.
Our gumshoes here at MickeyBlog did a little investigating this morning and the reason for the walls is that new cement is being laid for the outdoor patio.
Here’s a look at the freshly laid concrete.
We heard a rumor that some of the Pirates snuck over from Adventureland to leave their mark!
Oops!
If you’ve been following along with us over the weekend, we reported that adjacent Tortuga Tavern at in Adventureland has recently reopened its doors after some minor work and a menu revamp.
Our MickeyBlogger Greg popped by Tortuga to try out their new peanut butter, banana and Nutella sandwich, you can check out his thoughts here.
There’s no timeline for this Pecos Bill project as of yet.
However, we come to you LIVE! from the theme parks each and every week so we’ll keep you posted.
This is a popular spot during the Halloween Season so hopefully these entrances will be completed before too long!
This is just one of many refurbishments being carried in preparation for Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Celebration which officially kicks of on October
