Brie Larson Gives Update Filming Captain Marvel Sequel
One of the highest-grossing debut films of the MCU, we finally have news on The Marvels as Brie Larson gives an update filming the Captain Marvel sequel.
The sequel to the 2019 box office sensation, Captain Marvel, Brie Larson is in London as the production on The Marvels is ramping up.
Digitalspy.com first reported the news that Brie Larson spoke to Sirius XM about what her experience has been shooting the sequel, specifically, the surrealism of going to work every day to be thrown into these fantastical worlds built by The Marvel’s crew.
It’s pretty surreal when youre diong films like this, theyre unlike anything else; huge sets, huge amount of people on set, a lot of specialst speality things. It’s a realy unique experience.
I’m a huge fan of Disneyland, so to me it feels like i get to go to my own private Disneyland every single day, ebcasuse theyre buildng all these insane worlds that no-one else knows about, no-one else gets to see. I’m in sets that are bigger than you can imagine right now and it’s really special, and it’s super fun and bizarre.
The character has become irreplaceable following her role in the finale of the MCU’s Infinity Saga; with her power proving to put her in rare air among Marvel characters.
Carol Danvers, a military pilot turned cosmic savior, has shown unparalleled power, focus, and determination to the Avengers team; and her story should continue to delve deeper into the parts of her personality we have yet to truly uncover.
The Marvels, according to Screenrant.com, will follow a story that involves Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel, Tayona Parris’ Monica Rambeau from Wandavision, and Iman Vellani’s Kamala Kahn who will make her MCU debut in her own Ms. Marvel series, exclusively on Disney+.
Also joining the film is likely veteran MCU actor Samuel L. Jackson who will be reprising his role as the ever-present Nick Fury.

The actor posted three pictures on Instagram that likely verify his involvement; one of stick-on facial hair, and two showcasing a shirt that pays homage to Captain Marvel’s after-credits scene.
The Marvels is set for a November 11, 2022 release date, with fans having to wait over a year to revisit the MCU journey of Carol Danvers Captain Marvel, and her new team of Marvels.
