Ms. Marvel Disney+ Tie-In Comic Delayed by 3 Months
Ms. Marvel: Beyond the Limit, a comic directly tied in with the upcoming Disney+ series Ms. Marvel has been delayed by 3 months.
The new release date will now be December, making at the very least a one-month gap between the series premiere and the comic if the show still releases on schedule.
There have been a lot of rumors going around recently about the potential of the Ms. Marvel series being pushed back from its original fall 2021 release.
These have mainly been fueled by the announcement of another Marvel and Disney+ series, Hawkeye, now having a fall release too.
The comic, Ms. Marvel: Beyond the Limit, will not directly match the series but will thematically tie in with the comic deep-diving into South Asian culture.
This may be revealing some of the plotlines of the Disney+ series which has currently been unknown so far, although some filming did take place in Thailand which seems to confirm this.
There are no known reasons for a delay if it does happen, as filming was completed way back in May this year with no indication that the editing and technical aspects of the show are facing difficulties.
The only potential known reason for a delay would be that the two companies do not want to release two Marvel series at the same time, with Hawkeye seemingly taking more importance by the rumors.
Although with Ms. Marvel/Kamala Khan appearing in the Captain Marvel sequel, The Marvels, the only real deadline they have is November 2022 which does leave them with a lot of time.
What do you think of this news? Will there be a delay announcement happening soon?
