ICYMI VIDEO: Fozzie Bear Takes Jungle Cruise Helm
The skippers at the world-famous Jungle Cruise and their antics are certainly having a moment. Not one to miss out on pun-filled hilarity, Fozzie Bear recently visited the Disneyland attraction to try out his own jokes on guests visiting the 8th Wonder of the World.
Of course, Fozzie first needed a bit of training. The skipper made sure to teach Fozzie a few classic favorites.
The master-of-one-liners himself found the skipper’s first joke a solid crowd-pleaser. She reminded guests that they can take pictures of the elephants because “they all have their trunks on.”

After that, Fozzie decided that perhaps he should take notes of the classic quips, even asking how to spell “hippo-crites.”
“Oh Fozzie, I promise I’ll tell you later if you tell me some of those great jokes on ‘The Muppet Show’ on Disney+,” the skipper commented as the video closed. Then, the pair set off on their journey down the world’s rivers.
Thanks to the streaming service, the namesake puppetry show can now be binge-watched on Disney+. The variety show first debuted in 1976 with episodes running until 1981, blending sketch comedy, famous guest stars and entertaining original song-and-dance numbers.
With the recent release of the “Jungle Cruise” feature film garnering huge public praise, the Muppets now prepare for their first-ever Halloween feature release with “Muppets Haunted Mansion.”

“Muppets Haunted Mansion” will surely pack a pile of laughs, as the first look even revealed Kermit in costume as the one-and-only Miss PIggy.
The release celebrates, in part, the 52nd anniversary of the Disneyland attraction. Stay tuned to MickeyBlog for release dates as Halloween approaches.
