Work Continues on Big Top Souvenirs in Storybook Circus
Last week, we here at MickeyBlog shared a look with you a construction update on Big Top Souvenirs.
For those unfamiliar, its the souvenir shop located in Storybook Circus just across the way from Dumbo the Flying Elephant.
While work is carried out the tent, which is home everything from Goofy’s Glaciers frozen drinks to character merch is closed to the public.
In the photos we shared earlier this week, you could clearly see construction works painting the yellow and blue stripes on the big top.
It looks like that work is still being carried out.
There are large areas of the exterior still to be updated.
You can see a worker continuing the paint job in the image above.
The bustle of activity at Big Top Souvenirs is leading many to speculate that the shop will be opening again soon!
We suspect that Walt Disney World will want this building looking beautiful by the time the 50th Anniversary Festivities kick off on October 1st.
Here you can see a cast member hard at work on blue and yellow stripes!
Crews are also still carrying out work to the roof of the big top.
Just last week, workers could be seen painting the two tone blue stripes on the top!
The flag at the top of the tent has also been updated.
We can’t wait to see the finished product and to once again be able to walk through the doors of Big Top Souvenirs.
