Minnie’s Halloween Dine is Back at Hollywood & Vine
It’s an exciting day, MickeyBlogger fans! The Boo Bash starts tonight, fall treats are throughout the Disney World theme parks, and Minnie’s Halloween Dine is back!
Hollywood & Vine is a character meal located in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Today, Minnie and Friends took over, dressed in adorable Halloween costumes.
Today’s Reservation
MickeyBlogger Greg and Elyssa had a dining reservation for 11:40 am. Indeed, their table was ready just in time!
They were welcomed into the restaurant by Cast Members and a unique photo opportunity! Hollywood & Vine is ready for the Halloween season!
Guests take photos here, in front of the Minnie’s Halloween Dine backdrop. As you can see, it has a jack-o-lantern scarecrow, a fence, and (perhaps) Minnie’s house in the background.
Traditionally, Hollywood & Vine is also a buffet meal. However, due to safety regulations, the meal is provided family-style.
The restaurant has an Old-Hollywood feel with bright colors. Also, it is known as the “Cafeteria to the Stars.”
The Meal
You can see the menu on your phone by accessing the QR code at Hollywood & Vine. Also, you can see their meal options online here.
So, right now Guests begin their meals with a salad and rolls. The salad looks fresh and delicious, topped with croutons, onions, tomatoes, cucumbers, and dressing.
Also, the rolls are hot and fresh out of the oven. Just image taking a delicious bite topped with creamy butter!
MickeyBlogger Greg decided to order the beef tenderloin. It looks savory and appropriately sided with green beans and mashed potatoes.
Meanwhile, MickeyBlogger Elyssa ordered risotto. Yes, it appears to be the right creamy consistency!
For dessert, MickeyBloggers Greg and Elyssa ordered creme brulee and lemon pound cake with strawberries and whipped cream. In my opinion, you can’t go wrong with either one!
This is a delicious meal at a classic Disney’s Hollywood Studios location. However, the best is yet to come!
The Characters
At all character meals, the highlight are the characters! First, let’s take a look at Mickey Mouse!
Or, should we call him Vampire Mickey? He is decked out with his pin-striped costume, a spooky cape, and spider accents. Mickey Mouse, you are just too cute!
Next, Goofy is dressed up as a cowboy, but with Halloween flair! Check out those western, skeleton gloves and webbed shirt!
Oh Goofy, you live up to your name! He is so precious as he poses for a picture in his cowboy hat!
Then, here comes Pluto…Mickey’s best pal! He is adorable as he waves to the Guests throughout Hollywood & Vine.
Then, Pluto reveals his batty nametag! Indeed, everyone is festively dressed for the occasion.
Finally, we have the star herself…Minnie Mouse! Oh my goodness, her costume is to die for!
Take a look at her spider web stockings and gloves, iconic heels, and witch’s hat donned with butterflies! Minnie Mouse, you are a true fashion icon…and she knows she is amazing!
Special Souvenir
So, one thing about character meals that Guests love so much is being able to obtain signatures. Don’t worry, Minnie Mouse has a parting gift for you!
Everyone receives this double-sided card. The front features Minnie Mouse demonstrating some Halloween magic for Mickey, Goofy, and Pluto.
Then, the back has the characters’ signatures from Minnie’s Halloween Dine! Although things are a little different right now, you still get a precious keepsake.
