BREAKING: Magic Kingdom Cast Haunt in Not-So-Scary Costume
For weeks, talk of Disney After Hours Boo Bash dominated conversations about the fall festivities at the Walt Disney World Resort. Tonight, we finally get to revel in all of the ghoulish delights of the season’s special ticketed event that is sure to haunt.
MickeyBloggers Greg and Elyssa popped over to the Magic Kingdom early to get a sneak peak of this year’s special event costumes. As expected, cast members throughout Magic Kingdom swtiched into their devilishly delightful Halloween apparel.
The classic haunting costume used to feature during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween party, which After Hours Boo Bash replaced beginning tonight.
Greeting tonight’s attendees, cast members donned their orange plaid aprons and best smiles to welcome guests to the sold-out affair.
The lime green sleeves covered in flying bats always offers a stellar seasonal compliment to the bright purple accents. With After Hours making its first return to the parks since the pandemic closures last March, the thrill of cast members shows that the excitement is real for everyone involved today.
The deep violet bat certainly adds a dose of Halloween spookiness to tonight’s ensemble for female cast members. It appears some also made a transition to blue skirts and apron accents over the usual aubergine tone.
The hue certainly looks familar as blues feautre throughout the “EARidescent” theme released earlier this week to celebrate the resort’s 50th annivesary. That celebration, named “the most magical celebration on Earth,” begins October 1st with Boo Bash dates scattered in the weeks that follow.
All of the Haunting Details in Place
With the anticipated crowds tonight, some cast members did choose to wear masks outside for this evening’s festivities. Currently, masks are only required when indoors on Walt Disney World property, including while on transportation.
Just before 5 p.m., many cast members gathered to prep for tonight’s inaugural Boo Bash event. With special character greetings, cavalcades, specialty treats, and trick-or-treating, the event will certainly thrill those attending the chilling gathering.
Though tonight’s event is sold out, tickets remain for event dates in August and September. October dates sold out weeks ago. Stay tuned to MickeyBlog tonight for live streams from the spooktackular event.
