New ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ Merch Reveals Mysterio’s Presence
The MCU’s next installment of the Peter Parkers saga has continued to frustrate fans for its lack of a trailer, and solid footage that shows fans what they can expect from the film; although we don’t yet have a trailer, New Spider-man: No Way Home Merch reveals Mysterio’s Presence in the MCU sequel.
Only four months stand between fans and the final film in the MCU’s Spider-Man trilogy; with little information, anticipation for what could be expected is reaching a fever pitch.
Although there have been no official releases for the project, Marvel has leaked Funko’s, Figures, and promotional art that speaks to what exactly is happening with the newest film.
The most intriguing part of the upcoming MCU film is that it comes at a time when the multiverse has caused a near-cataclysmic shift in the universe.
The events of Loki’s season one finale have forced Spider-Man to seemingly partner with Doctor Strange in order to set right the everchanging universe.
Although rumors and leaks have run rampant as to who will appear in the film; All that can be known for sure is that Spider-Man and Doctor Strange will work together to stop whatever threat is imminently facing Peter Parker.
A forgotten aspect of this film- considering everything that occurred between the finale of the Infiniti Saga and Loki’s finale- is that Peter’s previous MCU entry, Spider-Man: Far From Home, dealt with our young hero’s secret identity being revealed to the world by the evil Mysterio.
It appears now that the new Spider-Man: No Way Home Merch reveals Mysterio’s presence in the film; as his actions have seemed to catch an audience within the Marvel Universe.
First reported by thedirect.com, we have inside look at three different images- most likely for branded t-shirts- that repeatedly state the slogan, “We Believe Mysterio.”
The image seems to play on the Mystery of Mysterio motif; and echoes a sentiment that is most likely held by the public after Mystiero’s contrived video at the conclusion of the second film.
The next image is similar to the first, except appears to be in a spray-painted style; this signifies the renegade movement formulated by the public.
The charge against Peter, on behalf of Mysterio, seems to be something that is escalated and embraced by the public as a rebellion against the hero.
The final image continues on the hand-drawn theme, this time interplaying Illuminati imagery that adds to the feel that Mystieros charge against Peter contains some level of a conspiracy theory feels to it.
It will be interesting to see how this perceived movement against Spider-Man will be created, or used, by J. Jonah Jameson in order to bring down Peter.
What do you think? are you a fan of Marvel’s use of Mysterio in this next film?
