There are prominent rumors making their way around the internet stating that the highly anticipated Ms. Marvel Disney+ series has been pushed back to 2022.
These rumors come from the announcement of another Marvel Disney+ series, Hawkeye, having a fall 2021 debut- the original time slated for Ms. Marvel.
Due to hearing no news on the release date for Ms. Marvel, fans are starting to worry that the announcement has confirmed that the female-led show has been pushed back.
The final two episodes wrapped filming in Thailand all the way back in May 2021, with most of the filming being completed in Atlanta, Georgia.
The cast celebrated the milestone show with five of them getting matching tattoos of Ms. Marvel’s lightning symbol that is seen on her costume.
For those who do not know who Ms. Marvel is, she is a Muslim teenager living in Jersey City named Kamala Khan who suddenly gains elasticity powers and decides to fight for good and justice in the world.
Khan is going to be played by Hollywood newcomer Iman Vellani, who is born to Muslim immigrants, just like Khan herself.
One thing is known for sure, the series has to debut before the release of the Captain Marvel sequel, The Marvels, as Kamala Khan is set to star in the film.
Vellani will be seen alongside Brie Larson as Carol Danvers and Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, with more details currently not known.
Recently promotional art surfaced online, giving fans a first look at Ms. Marvel’s costume. The costume looks true to the comic counterpart, with the only noticeable difference being the unknown material that covers her left hand.
