Frontierland Construction Spreads Down Boardwalk
In anticipation of the 50th anniversary celebration kicking off at the Walt Disney World, the vast majority of the Magic Kingdom received a facelift recently. With the Fantasyland refurbishments just about complete, Frontierland now takes centerstage in preparation of the big day.
Earlier this week, construction focused on the Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe area.
However, this morning, the “Pardon our Prairie Dust” signs continued down the Frontierland boardwalk.
The vast majority of the work seems to focus on the replacement of floor boards throughout the area’s walkways.
In a peak over the walls, MickeyBloggers noticed that the boardwalk flooring appears to be getting a complete rework.
Brown fabric appears behind much of the refurbishment walls, hiding materials and supplies for sections that await their moment.
For now, it appears that the majority of the work focuses solely on exterior upgrades and repairs.
Anniversary Refurbishment Continues
Earlier this spring and summer, Fantasyland received its own makeover with touches of gold now speckled throughout the magical land.
