New Planters Bring Fall Color to the Hub at Magic Kingdom
The area around the front of Cinderella Castle has received an autumnal sprucing-up, as fancy new flowers and foliage arrive in the Magic Kingdom.
As we walked down Main Street U.S.A. in the Magic Kingdom this morning, it was a pleasure to see a new array of planters adorning the hub area, just in front of Cinderella Castle.
With fall colors of greens, deep pinks and purples, it was a bright addition to the gorgeous fall decor which also returned to transform the park just this morning.
We can’t help but admire the colors in this arrangement. There are spiraling topiaries standing over a sea of purple and green, and the gorgeously lush pinks and reds of the coleuses.
We are assuming that this area has been set aside specifically for the upcoming ‘Disney Fab 50 Character Collection’ statues, which will be installed in celebration of the park’s 50th anniversary later this year.
Here at MickeyBlog, we are very much enjoying the slow reveal of each character set to have a statue, with Winnie the Pooh and Piglet, Cogsworth and Lumiere, and Edna Mode being some of the most recent statues to be announced.
Perhaps not the most visually appealing foliage is pictured in this photo, but we’re sure the plants will bloom to their fullest potential in time for the 50th anniversary celebrations.
These coleuses are so unique and pretty.
With Cinderella Castle standing majestically in the background, this area is sure to be a popular photo spot throughout the 50th anniversary celebrations. What do you think of these new blooms in the Magic Kingdom?
