Resort Mask Mandate
New mask signs are located throughout Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. Immediately, the signs read, “masks on at all indoor locations” as you arrive at the location.
The signs are similar to those at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. However, they seem to be slightly more direct.
The new signs are located on the ground, as well as posted on the windows. That way, resort Guests are aware of and remember the new mask requirement throughout the Walt Disney World Resort.
In fact, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort reminds Guests to put on their masks as soon as they arrive. In addition, they are instructed to place their masks over their nose and mouth.
A small, but important Disney detail is how they coordinate the signs. Notice, the signs at Disney’s Polynesian Resort are red, while the signs at Disney’s Contemporary Resort are blue.

Naturally, some Guests may be slightly disheartened when being greeted by these signs and placing their masks on again. However, Cast Members are here to help and support you along the way.
