BREAKING NEWS: Disney Is Requiring US Employees To Get Vaccinated
According to a recent piece appearing in Variety, the Walt Disney Company is requiring that ALL salaried and non-union U.S. employees get vaccinating before they return to work.
A statement released by Disney today said, “At The Walt Disney Company, the safety and well-being of our employees during the pandemic has been and continues to be a top priority.” It continues, “Toward that end, and based on the latest recommendations of scientists, health officials and our own medical professionals that the COVID-19 vaccine provides the best protection against severe infection, we are requiring that all salaried and non-union hourly employees in the U.S. working at any of our sites be fully vaccinated..”
The statement goes on to say that Employees who aren’t vaccinated and are working on site will have 60 days to comply and employees working from home will need to provide vaccination verification upon their return.

Disney also announced that they have begun working with unions representing employees under their bargaining agreements.
In addition, newly hired employees will be required to get vaccinated before starting their jobs. Disney concludes the statement by saying, “Vaccines are the best tool we all have to help control this global pandemic and protect our employees.”
