Easter Eggs From ‘Jungle Cruise’ the Film That You’ll Find on Jungle Cruise Ride in Disneyland

We love it when life imitates art, or in this case, maybe its vice versa!? 

Disney is known for their Easter Eggs on rides in films and more.  So it should go without saying that Jungle Cruise should be no exception.  With the film opening tomorrow in cinemas and on Disney+ and with the attraction undergoing a recent re-imagining, it’s not surprised that there should be some overlap between the two films. 

Here are a few tie-ins that you’ll want to be on the lookout for! 

If you’re riding the Jungle Cruise in Adventureland at Disneyland theme park, be on the lookout for clothing worn by Skipper Frank (played by Dwayne Johnson) as well as Dr. Lily Houghton (Emily Blunt) pictured in the image above.  You’ll find it on the coat pegs in Alberta Falls’ office in the Jungle Cruise boathouse. Frank’s jacket can be found in Alberta’s office, hanging behind a wicker hutch. 

Also see if you can find the the Conquistador’s helmet that hangs in the Safari Supply Storage Room.  In the film Frank and Lily encounter a group of Conquistadors let by Aguirre (Edgar Ramierez.) 

While you’re there, look at the opposite wall from Society of Explorers and Adventurers member Dr. Kon Chunosuke’s entomological collection.  Here you’ll find a map that Lily brought to Frank in the film. It is this very same map that guides Frank and Lily on their adventure down the Amazon in their search for an ancient tree with the power to revolutionize medicine.

Keep an eye out for more “Easter eggs” from the film at the Jungle Cruise at Magic Kingdom Park, as well as many others connected to the attraction enhancements at both Disneyland park and Magic Kingdom Park.
