Disney Gives Us Our First Look at “Harmonious”

As we get ready for Walt Disney World to kick off “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” on October 1, 2021, Disney has just given us our first look at the much-anticipated nighttime spectacular coming to EPCOT to mark the occasion, “Harmonious!”

Once “Harmonious” makes its debut on October 1, 2021 at EPCOT, it will bring to light the vision of EPCOT “through a celebration of our world and its promise.” “Harmonious” was developed by Disney with influence from cultures from all over the world and combined that with a global community of musical artists who have “come together and reinterpreted those familiar stories and songs in their own voice, honoring their respective cultures.”

“Harmonious” will feature three chapters with the first chapter inviting Guests to gather around the World Showcase Lagoon. The second chapter celebrates the countries and cultures of the world while the third chapter unites us to create a bright tomorrow.

The show will start out with a sunrise which is symbolism of the world awakening around us and we set out on a journey across the globe. Songs included in this part of the musical score are from destinations around the world and include hits from “Moana,” “The Jungle Book,” “Mulan,” “Brave,” and “The Hunchback of Notre Dame.”
