Winnie the Pooh and Piglet Added to Walt Disney World’s ‘Disney Fab 50 Character Collection’ Statues
The announcement – and statues – keep coming! Earlier this year, Walt Disney World announced that 50 statues would debut at the Walt Disney World Theme Parks and Disney Parks across the globe for “The World’s Most Magical Celebration.” Today, it was just announced that both Winnie the Pooh and Piglet will be receiving statues as part of the “Disney Fab 50 Character Collection!”
In this artist rendering Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse are featured as special golden character sculptures in Magic Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. They will be joined by 50 characters as part of the “Disney Fab 50,” a new collection of golden sculptures debuting Oct. 1, 2021, across all four Walt Disney World theme parks as part of “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” honoring the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort. The Winnie the Pooh and Piglet “Disney Fab 50 Character Collection” statue announcement was just posted to the Disney Springs Twitter account and announced by Walt Disney World 50th Global Ambassador, George A. Kalogridis:
