More Details Emerge For D23’s Event at Walt Disney World this November
D23, the official Disney Fan Club has just released more exciting details of their Destination D23 members event happening at Disney’s Contemporary Resort in November.
A highlight of the event will be a new exhibition from Walt Disney World archives titled “50 Years of Brining Home the Magic.” The focus of this event will excitedly be Disney merchandise over the years!

Important Dates:
- The event will take place November 19-21 at Disney’s Contemporary Resort at Walt Disney World.
- Tickets go on sale for this event on Thursday (July 29, 2021) at 1PM EST. There will be a virtual waiting room for high demand traffic which will also start at 1 PM EST.
Presentation Highlights
- Kick-off Event -including welcome presentation with Disney CEO, Bob Chapek.
- What’s New and What’s Next for Disney Parks, Experiences and Product – Disney Chairman Josh D’Amaro will also be there to give a rundown of what’s in the pipeline for Disney Sparks, Experiences and Productions. This will be the place to be for updates on Disney projects around the world.
- What’s New Disney+ – attendees will also be treated to a look at all of the exciting projects DIsney+ is currently working on.
- Musical Memories of Walt Disney World- Celebrate 50 years of the Walt Disney World songbook with Walt Disney Imagineering and learn some stories behind your favorite theme park tunes.
- Musical Performances – DCapella and Michael James Scott from Disney on Broadway’s Aladdin will be on hand to dazzle.
- The Art and Imagery of Walt Disney World— Dive into Walt Disney World Imagineering Art & Photo collections for a look and five decades of the artwork that inspired Walt Disney World Resort over the years.
- The Magical Musical World of Encanto – Join the filmmakers and special guests for a Saturday evening celebration of Disney’s 60th animated feature!
- Weird Disney World – Join Beck Cline from Walt Disney World Archives who will share some of Walt Disney Worlds wildest and wackiest moments.
- How Disney World Began – Authors Kevin kern and Steven Vagnini will discuss their book A Portrait of Walt Disney World: 50 Years of the Most Magical Place on Earth and will be joined by Disney Legend Dick Nunis for a look at how Walt Disney’s original visions were translated into the Disney World that you know and love today!
- Park Stars: Original Characters of Walt Disney World—Learn more about the awesome characters created for Disney World including Figment, Big Al, Orange Bird and Teddi Berra with Imagineers Diana Brost and Jason Grandt.
- The Walt Disney Archives: 50 Years of Bringing Home the Magic – This all-new exhibit will be curated by Walt Disney Archives will take you through 50 years of merchandise memories at Walt Disney World.
- Mickey’s of Glendale – The Walt Disney World Imagineering campus store will be back with a shop featuring an awesome assortment of D23 merchandise.
- Special Film Screening – Head over to Disney Springs for a special screening on Friday, November 19th.
- Grand Finale – Disney loves to throw a part and this good-bye soiree will be the icing on a fabulous weekend with a special Disney+ soriee
