Scaffolding is Up at Be Our Guest In Magic Kingdom
Yesterday, MickeyBlog paid a visit to the Magic Kingdom where we noticed a wave of small construction projects happening around the theme park.
The partners statue is being cleaned, Tony’s Town Square Restaurant and Jungle Cruise both got new signs and the bronze is being polished on the “Partners” statue in the hub.
We also noticed that scaffolding has gone up around the mountainous exterior of Be Our Guest restaurant.
Disney hasn’t announced any big changes at the beloved New Fantasyland eatery.
For that reason, we think that its just routine maintenance.
We should also note that there is no disruption to the dining hours with the restaurant remining open for lunch and dinner throughout the summer.
As you can see from the images above, there is quite an extensive area that is being worked on .
During our visit yesterday afternoon there were no construction crews on site or work being carried out.
That makes it hard for us to get a real sense of the nature of the work.
However, as we previously reported here at MickeyBlog, Disney World is making lots of updates as the theme parks get ready for Disney World’s 5th Anniversary Celebration.
The festivities will officially kick off on October 1st meaning that Disney World only has three months to ensure that everything is looking in tip top shape!
We’ll be visiting Magic Kingdom each week in the lead in to Disney World’s 50th Anniversary.
