Two New Statues Announced for Fab 50 Character Collection
We have some fantastic news to share! Disney announced via their official Instagram page the the two newest interactive statues for the Fab 50 Character Collection will be Lumiere and Cogsworth!
Susan Egan, the original Belle from Broadway’s Beauty and the Beast made the wonderful announcement.
Disney’s Instagram post reads, “The dining room is proud to present… Susan Egan! The original Belle from @DisneyOnBroadway’s Beauty and the Beast has revealed that Lumiere and Cogsworth are part of the “Disney Fab 50 Character Collection” that you’ll soon find across the four @WaltDisneyWorld theme parks during “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” starting October 1 #DisneyWorld50”

Cogsworth and Lumiere are two loveable characters from Beauty and the Beast.
As Disney announced earlier this summer, “Across all 4 theme parks, 50 golden characters wait to be discovered during The World’s Most Magical Celebration!”
In this artist rendering Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse are featured as special golden character sculptures in Magic Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. They will be joined by 50 characters as part of the “Disney Fab 50,” a new collection of golden sculptures debuting Oct. 1, 2021, across all four Walt Disney World theme parks as part of “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” honoring the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort.
