Disney World’s Incident Report Out For 2nd Quarter of 2021
Walt Disney World along with Orlando based theme parks like Universal and SeaWorld just reported on incidents, accidents and injuries for the second quarter of 2021.
From April – June, there were a few instances of injury which we’ll share with you below but given that Disney has really upped capacity and is opening more rides, eateries and attractions the incidents reported remain relatively low.
Back in April, a 66 year old woman reportedly fell and fractured her wrist when exiting the Haunted Mansion attraction In Liberty Square at the Magic Kingdom. No further information was given.
On May 30th over at EPCOT a 58 year old man with a pre-existing condition fainted after exiting the attraction. The report indicated that the gentleman later passed away at the hospital.
Last month, over at Blizzard Beach a 43 year old man fractured an ankle while stepping out of one of the innertubes at Teamboat Springs!
Sadly on June 29th a 27 year old man with a pre-existing condition had a seizure after riding Flight of Passage at Animal Kingdom. No further details were given.
