Both ‘Happily Ever After’ and ‘EPCOT Forever’ Will End Forever in September
Lots of breaking entertainment news coming out of Walt Disney World today. While fan-favorite entertainment options including the “Wonderful World of Animation” at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Turtle Talk with Crush at EPCOT, Disney has just confirmed that both “Happily Ever After” at the Magic Kingdom and “EPCOT Forever” will end for good this September.

“EPCOT Forever”‘s last day has been announced at September 28 and “Happily Ever After” will last be seen on September 29.
It has been widely know that “EPCOT Forever” will make its final curtain call before Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary celebrations kick off on October 1 as it will be replaced with the all-new “Harmonious” night time spectacular.

A new nighttime spectacular, “Disney Enchantment,” will debut Oct. 1, 2021, at Magic Kingdom Park in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. Created to launch with the “World’s Most Magical Celebration” the show will take guests on a journey filled with adventure, wonder and empowerment, inspiring guests to believe in magic. “Disney Enchantment” will feature music, enhanced lighting, stunning fireworks and, for the first time, immersive projection effects that extend from Cinderella Castle down Main Street, U.S.A. We also knew the Magic Kingdom will debut its new 50th Anniversary fireworks spectacular, “Disney Enchantment,” on October 1. While “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” will last 18 months, many were under the impression that once it ended, “Disney Enchantment” would be retired and “Happily Ever After” would be brought back.
With today’s announcement, that does not seem to be case and another new nighttime spectacular will debut at the Magic Kingdom around April 2023.
“Happily Ever After first debuted back at the Magic Kingdom back in May 2017. It was not offered for well over a year due to the ongoing COVID pandemic. The show just started lighting up the sky once again earlier this month on July 1.
