Hall of Presidents to Reopen in August, Disney Shares First Look at Addition of President Joe Biden
After being closed for several months, Disney has just confirmed that the iconic Hall of Presidents attraction in the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World will reopen in August. In addition to a reopening time frame, Disney has given us our first look at the addition of the 46th President of the United States, Joe Biden.
The Hall of Presidents at the Magic Kingdom has been around about just as long as Walt Disney World has been opened – since 1971. Over the almost 50 years, the attraction “has brought to life the heritage of the United States and share the symbolic importance and uniqueness of the office of the President” just as Walt Disney envisioned it.

After Joe Biden was confirmed the 46th President, the attraction closed to add his audio-animatronic to the show. And, also like Walt Disney envisioned, and for the Presidents of the United States that have held the office for the past several years, the President Biden audio-animatronic has been programmed to say the presidential oath of office that was recorded by Biden himself.
When the Hall of Presidents reopens at the Magic Kingdom in August, make sure to take a close look at the table right beside President Biden for some items of significance to the 46th President. Guests will see peach blossoms which represent his home state of Delaware along with his signature aviator sunglasses.

Like all past presidents, President Donald J. Trump’s audio-animatronic will remain but just be moved to take a place on the stage where all former presidents that have served now reside.
