FIRST LOOK: Epcot International Food & Wine Festival Passport
It’s that time Disney friends! Today is the official launch of the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival and MickeyBlog is there. We thought we’d start things off with an official look at the Festival Passport!
For those unfamiliar, the Festival Passport is your guide to all things Food & Wine and can be picked up at various locations throughout the park.
Inside you’ll find a complete list of menus, merchandise previews entertainment and more. Let’s dive in!
As we mentioned, this year’s sponsor is Corkcicle, you’ll want to be on the lookout for special Food & Wine branded CORKCICLE tumblers, mugs, flutes and more!
The passport also provides you with an entertainment guide as well as suggestions on family friendly activities that kids are sure to love!
Here’s an initial look at some of the awesome merchandise that will be on offer during this year’s Fest, while be giving you a closer look later so keep following along.
Now let’s get started with a look at the food booths.
We love that the guide comes with a checklist so that you can tick your treats off as you’re trying them.
If you’ve been following along with us you’ll know that the beloved Cheddar Soup at the Canada Pavilion is BACK!
The Maple Boursin Cheesecake is looking pretty fantastic in this spread featuring items found at the Australia and Refreshment Port Marketplaces.
We continue our culinary trip around the world with a look at the offerings at France and Brazil! As you can see from the passport, select global marketplaces WILL NOT be opening until October 1st. As in the case of Brazil (above) you’ll see this at the top of the page in red.
Here we have Belgium (again opening on October 1st) as well as some delectable Moroccan treats at the Tangierine Cafe: Flavors of the Medina.
Greece is another favorite. I can’t wait to try the Griddled Cheese with Pistachios and Honey – YUM. There’s also the Japan Pavilion popular for their sake and cocktails.
There’s also a pretty neat tri-fold spread in the center of the Passport giving you some ideas of foods to try. I think this is a really nice touch.
Below you can see the menu for Hops & Barkley serving up beloved American staples.
Those with a sweet tooth will definitely want to stop by Funnel Cake. This year’s Festival treat includes candied bacon and S’mores toppings!
Mediterranean food is fantastic in the Orlando summer heat and Spain’s a great place to stop. They do a mean Charcuterie each year!
Next up we have menu previews for Germany as well as The Alps which will be opening on October 1st.
BubbleTea is all the range and you can try the traditional Chinese Bubble Milk tea at their food booth this year.
Another new arrive is the Swanky Saucy Swine. Not only does it win the title for the best food booth name of 2021 but we can’t wait to try the Soy-glazed Sticky Ribs!
Another newbie is BREW-WING located in the Epcot Experience. Here you’ll find a tantalizing array of chicken wing flavors that pair perfectly with a huge array of beers on offer.
Donut lovers will definitely want to make the Donut Box your first port-of-call where you’ll find both sweet and savory options!
Seafood lovers will delight at the goodies offered up at Lobster landing (another new booth opening October 1) as well as Mac & Eats (also opening October 1st.)
Rounding out the passport is a look at sponsors this year.
